Master Nick Malefyt, VIII Dan
Master Nick Malefyt, VIII Dan, is a highly respected Taekwon-Do instructor, coach, examiner, and leader within the United States International Taekwon-Do Federation (US-ITF). He serves as a member of the US-ITF Promotion Committee and as the New Jersey State Director for the organization.
Master Malefyt is the owner and head instructor of All-Star Taekwon-Do & Self-Defense in West Caldwell, New Jersey, where he has dedicated himself to developing students, instructors, and competitors. His influence extends well beyond his own school, with numerous students going on to establish and operate successful Taekwon-Do schools of their own.
One of Master Malefyt's most significant accomplishments is his contribution to the development of senior instructors. He has personally trained two practitioners to the rank of Master, both of whom became World Championship-level competitors and have gone on to develop World Champions of their own. This represents a lasting legacy of technical knowledge, instruction, coaching, and leadership passed from one generation of Taekwon-Do practitioners to the next.
Master Malefyt is also deeply involved in the continuing education of Taekwon-Do instructors and senior practitioners.
